ATTITUDE

I recently came across an interesting comment about attitude attributed to Charles Swindoll:

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than sucesses, than what other people say or do. It is more important then appearance, giftedness or skill. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude... I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our atitudes!

55 years, 5 months, and 5 days

DEFINITION OF A BLOG: A CONVERSATION YOU HAVE WITH YOURSELF THAT OTHER PEOPLE CAN LISTEN IN ON.

I decided to launch my Blog at the exact mid-point of my life. Today is August 11, 2010. On this day I am exactly 55 years, 5 months and 5 days, and I was born in 1955.

While recently on vacation in Vermont this synchronicity of days occurred to me, and I thought: WHO AM I? I know when I die people will say she was this and she was that, hence the name of my Blog.

She was a Swimmer, She was a Skier, She was a Teacher, She was a Landscaper, She was a Chef, She was a Health Educator, She was an Environmentalist, She was above all a Mother.
